Writers are taught to avoid creating angel-like characters who are close to perfection, a kind of Mary Poppins. They have lots of magical power and don't look interesting, script writers couches say. That always provoke objections in my soul, because it's just another cliché - because in many ways it depends on where your character is placed. An angel living among wolves is most contrasted picture, but take just a parent, with all his/her power, trying to calm down a child. Many of us know it's not an easy task. That's why "angels" are underestimated characters and may be a good way to go and explore ways of living wise and interesting.
